It’s unclear whether this Replay All Time playlist will be made available for a limited time only, or whether it’s destined to become a standard feature within Apple Music going forward. An exact date of launch has yet to be confirmed by the company, but it’s likely to roll out in the very near future. For reference,Apple Music first launchedon June 06, 2025 – exactly one decade ago. Once it does land onto devices, the addition will live within the main Home tab of the Apple Music application.
In a dedicatednewsroom press release, Apple also presented a set of other anniversary-related announcements. Arguably the most signigicant of these is the opening of a dedicated studio space in Los Angeles, California, for the purposes of providing support to musical artists “at every level by giving them the tools, platform, and creative freedom to tell their stories in entirely new ways.” This dedicated space, which is set to be a three-story facility at over 15,000 square feet, will include advanced radio studios, a soundstage, a social media lab, isolation booths, and more.

Spotify should make an all-time Wrapped
As a Spotify user, Apple Music has been tempting me in recent months
I’ve been aSpotifyfaithful for the better part of the past decade, owing to its massive library of music, podcasts, and audiobooks, as well as its cross-platform nature. However, in more recent years, Apple has been bolstering the reach and capabilities of its own music streaming service, and its efforts are making a genuinely compelling case for a switch away from Team Green.
These days, Apple Music is available across not only Apple platforms, but also Android, Windows, and the web. The company has incorporated several new features into the mix, including time-synced lyrics, lossless audio tracks, and a dedicated appfor lovers of classical music.
I certainly hope Spotify implements its own ‘of all time’ feature in the form of a Wrapped playlist.
Most recently, at its annual WWDC developers conference for 2025, Apple announceda liquid glass redesignof the Apple Music interface, as well asan AI-powered AutoMix featurethat can seamlessly switch between tracks without any jarring transitions. These features aren’t expected to land until later this year, but they’ve piqued my interest to a great degree.
The streamer’s new Replay All Time playlist is yet one more compelling addition to the Apple Music experience, and it’s another thing I can’t access over on the Spotify side of things. I certainly hope Spotify implements its own ‘of all time’ feature in the form ofa Wrapped playlist, as there’s great value in being able to view metrics and listening trends on a broad scale.
