When you playElden Right Nightreignfor the first time, it can be an overwhelming experience, even for veteran players. You’re immediately tossed into the world with little direction and a closing wall behind you as you fight your way through hordes of monsters, undead and crazed soldiers.

Depending on what character you play, they excel in certain attributes. While every character can use every weapon they find in the world, not every glove fits properly. What we mean is that they may be able to use one weapon, but not as efficiently as they would be able to use another. For example, strength-built characters will do well with heavier weapons and shields, while magic users will utilize the magical arts far better.

It’s not made immediately abundantly clear what these classes excel in from the outset, but if you do some digging, you’ll be able to find the exact stat scaling. This guide will help you get a better grasp on whatstatscertain characters are better at, and what they’re not when you’re already inside a match.

How to Beat Tricephalos in Elden Ring Nightreign

This three-headed beast is the gatekeeper to the rest of Elden Ring Nightreign.

Wylder is the poster child of Elden Ring Nightreign, making him the most rounded character to play. Not excelling too highly in most fields, he has a solid rating for Strength and HP, making him a decent choice for medium-sized and even large weapon users.

Intelligence

Guardian isn’t too far off from Wlyder in terms of its build structure, focusing on HP and, to a certain degree, strength, but he gets a higher rating in Stamina, something that is needed, given he’ll be lugging around a giant shield.

One of the few DEX characters in the game, the bow-and-arrow user actually has quite a few tricks up his sleeve. Not only does he have high DEX, but he also does well with Arcane, something that will help with ailment weapons.

The first unlockable character in the game, Duchess is essentially a melee version of Iron Eye, but instead of having high Arcane, she has considerable Intelligence and Faith, which is only complimented with a decent FPS balance. She’s prime for a magic weapon.

The hulking beast of a man, as you might expect, Raider is best with larger weapons, using his brute force to win battles. He not only has high Strength, but his HP and Stamina help him be able to tank through a considerable amount of damage.

NightReign-Stats-03

The second unlockable character in Nightreign, Revenant is a squishier class but does well in all the magical arts. This means if you give her a wand or seal, she’ll do well with them. She can also pick up a shortbow or smaller weapon provided it has an element to it like poison or bleed.

I think it goes without saying the magic user is good at magic. Intelligence and Faith are her bread and butter, making her best to pick up wands and potentially magical swords – although avoid larger weapons because she is immensely squishy, and you don’t want her in the vanguard.

Last but not least, the samurai of Nightreign, Executor is the strongest DEX character in the game, and is the best Arcane user, as well. This means, if you find a strong samurai blade with a specific effect, such as bleed, poison or fire, it will only strengthen his capabilities.
