Twitter’s official appsupports a feature called Night Modethat can give the app a dark-colored makeover on demand; but compared to some other apps, this ‘dark mode’-esque feature leaves a lot to be desired.
Fortunately, iOS developerChloeeisoakyrecognized these shortcomings and responded to them with the release of a new freejailbreak tweakcalledTwitterDarkMode.
TwitterDarkMode differs from theTwitterapp’s native Night Mode feature because it lets users configure their own color preferences. As you might come to expect, the package includes the option to go pitch-black, a colorway that can save power on devices equipped with OLED displays such as the iPhone X, XS, and XS Max.
Once installed, TwitterDarkMode adds a preference pane to the Settings app where you can configure it to your personal liking:
In addition to toggling the tweak on or off on demand and respringing the device to save your changes, the preference pane is divided into multiple groups, which we’ll be breaking down for you below:

After you’re finishing configuring your color options, you should force-quit the Twitter app from the App Switcher and respring your device to ensure all changes take effect. Upon re-launching Twitter, you should see your new colors spring to life.
Upon trying the tweak for myself, I’d admit that it’s a bit heavy on the user configuration. This can be a good or bad thing depending on your point of view, but in my experience, too many options tend to be overwhelming and time-consuming. Fortunately, the developer includes presets, which can speed up your colorization itch if you’re in a pinch.
