After reprising the role of Detective Benoit Blanc inGlass Out: A Knives Out Mystery,Daniel Craig is all set to star in Luca Guadagnino’s upcoming film,Queer,and he is bringing Drew Starkey along for the ride. And if reports are to be believed, the film has already begun filming!

According to some reports,Queerhas commenced its filming. The film will be shot completely over at Rome’s refurbished studios, the Cinecittà Studios, and will be set in the city of Mexico. The film is based on William S. Burroughs’ 1985 novel of the same.Queerwill seeDaniel Craigplaying the author’s alter-ego, Lee, an outcast American immigrant living in Mexico.
Craig’s character starts to become madly infatuated with a younger discharged American Navy serviceman, Allerton, who will be played by Drew Starkey. Fans are especially excited to see Starkey’s performance in the film as it will be the most prominent role of his acting career. Starkey is most popular for his role as Rafe Cameron in Netflix’sOuter Banks.He was also seen inThe Hate U GiveandLove, Simon.

It goes without saying that Craig will effortlessly pull this off just like any of his other roles, however, there’s a chance that Starkey might steal the spotlight away from him this time. We are absolutely stoked to see their chemistry on screen!
