Phoenix Labs has released Update 1.0 which has taken the behemoth hunting action-RPG officially out of Early Access.
Dauntless Update 1.0 Takes It Out of Early Access
Marking the milestone of leaving Early Access,Phoenix Labshas dropped the Dauntless 1.0 update for theaction-RPG. This also comes with the release of the expansion Aether Unbound, which brings further new features to the cross-platform title.
After years of development and feedback from the community, the update officially bringsDauntlessout of Early Access. The developer has already outlined future updates including in-game events, new weapons andquestsin their roadmap.
A new expansion has also been released called Aether Unbound, adding aether strikers to the Slayers loadout. This brand new weapon is a first weapon that helps charge your Mantra, enabling the use of special abilities. The expansion also brings new Dire Behemoth, Tempestborne Stormclaw, a new Bounty System and Hunt Pass.
The Bounty System allows players to gain Hunt Pass experience in a different way. You will earn Bounty Cards and Tokens which let you complete the Hunt Pass by carrying out tasks you wish to choose. This can be done at your own pace meaning even if you start completing your pass a little further down the season, you won’t have issues with Hunt Pass experience.
15 million players have joined Dauntless since its inception which is quite the milestone.
