The Memory Alembic quest in Destiny 2 is probably one of the most confusing and time consuming quests that the game has to offer. Before you can start this quest, you will have to unlock Deepsight Tier 2. In order to do this, you will have to hitlevel 10withFynchin Savathun’s Throne World. In order to make it to level 10, you will have to keep completing activities and bounties on Savathun’s Throne World.
Once you’ve unlockedDeepsight Tier 2, look for different Deepsight nodes. In order to check if you’ve activated the correct Deepsight node, look for aScorn Chieftain corpseclose to where you’ve activated the node. There are three nodes that keeprotating on a daily basis. They are as follows:

After you’ve interacted with a Scorn Chieftain corpse, you will see a green trail, like you would see during the Wrathborn hunts. A buff called “On The Trail” should activate right after you’ve scanned the corpse. Keep following this trail till you come across some debris. Interact with this debris again, and you’ll see a fresh trail come up. Keep following this trail once again till you come across a Lucent Hive. This Lucent Hive will drop a chest once you defeat it. This chest containsQualichor. Collect it and then head back to Fynch. Now you can pick up the Memory Alembic quest from your friendly Hive ghost.
Once you’ve picked up this quest, you will be tasked with killingeight Lucent Brood Executioners. In order to do this, you will have to retrace your steps to one of the three locations mentioned above, interact with theDeepsightnode again, then follow the trail as you did previously till you come across a Lucent Brood Executioner. Defeat the executioner and collect the Qualichor.
you’re able to only killone executioner per day, so you will have to come back daily for eight days if you want to successfully complete this quest. Once you’ve successfully collectedeight Qualichor, make your way back to Fynch and trade them in for someRefined Qualichor. This can be used to unlock a Lucent Brood Hoard.
How to get a Lucent Brood Hoard in Destiny 2
to get to a Lucent Brood Hoard, you will first have to defeatLucent Brood Inquisitors. Once you defeat them, you will be tasked with defeating aLucent Brood Commander. You need to do this thrice in total in order to get to the Lucent Brood Hoard. Lucent Brood Inquisitors and the Lucent Brood Commanders glow with astrange white light. Moreover, they don’t have a definite spawn location. So how do you know when an Inquisitor is around and when they aren’t?
The answer is simple. Whenever there’s a Lucent Brood Inquisitor around, you will see a message that states “Lucent Brood Inquisitors in your sector.” Once you see this message, scour the sector for these enemies and then defeat them as mentioned above till you get to the Lucent Brood Hoard. Unlock the hoard using the Refined Qualichor that you got from Fynch and the quest should be completed.
