The third of the five Islands comprising the Gobbo Archipelago, the Desert Island as with the previous Islands, will consist of six levels, two bosses and two secret levels.

Croc: Legend of the Gobbos has many fantastic platforming games that rival its quality.
Let’s go over everything within this island, includingGobbo locations and Jigsaw Pieces.
Level 3-1: Lights, Camel, Action!
Start by running towards the locked door to your left, smash the two boxes for some Crystals and thefirstGobbo.Turn around and jump down the platforms, taking out the Jumping Dantinis along the way. Grab theBlue Crystalon the way and head through the door at the bottom.
Run forward and jump up the platform in front of you, grab theGold Key, Red Crystal and the second Gobbo. Make your way out and back up to the locked door and go through it.
Ignore the caged Gobbo and use the platforms that jet out of the muddy water to cross the water and onto the set of monkey bars. Cross them and jump to the sandy island at the end, turning around and jumping up to grab onto the monkey bars from below.
Cross underneath to grab theGreen Crystal and a Silver Key. Jump back up on top of the monkey bars and take the balloon back to the Caged Gobbo. Unlock it for thethird Gobbo. Head back across and through the door at the end of this area to the next.
Run ahead and slam on the purple jelly in front of you three times to be transported to theBonus Area. Run around the perimeter of the center island, collecting the Crystals laid around and smash the four boxes for fourLives. Use the platforms that pop out of the acid pits and jump up to the center island and walk into the sparkles.
Use the purple jelly and jump across the pit of muddy water, using the floating boxes to jump across. Use the purple jelly in front of you again, jumping to one of the three spinning platforms, then to the red button. Press it and jump back to the three boxes from before.
Smash them to get someCrystals, the fourth Gobbo and the Yellow Crystal. Jump down to the left side of the spinning platforms and go through the door to the next area.
Jump on the elephant in the muddy pool of water and ride it to the left, back corner. Jump on the platforms and press the red button on the crumbling platforms. From there, jump to the elephant again and use it to smash the boxes to get thePurple Crystal and the fifth Gobbo.
Go back out and cross the river of muddy water again to go through the Crystal Door. Race against the ghost, following the trail of Crystals, taking the first right you come across and just follow that path. Jump and grab theSilver Keyat the end and unlock the cage to get thesixth Gobbo.Ring the gong to end the level.
Level 3-2: Mud Pit Mania
Turn right and jump on top of the monkey bars, take out the mummy and smash the box at the end for theRed Crystal.Jump down and make your way to the end where there’s a pipe, run behind it and grab theSilver Key.Head back and make your way to the caged red button, press it. Head back to where you started and smash the floating box for thefirst Gobbo.
Go back to the pipe at the end of this area and jump down. When you pop out of the pipe, turn around and follow the path of Crystals to thesecond Gobbo.Run back and continue forward, using the platforms to cross over to the next section of this area.
Go right and use the two boxes to jump on top of the monkey bars. Grab theLifeat the end and jump and grab theBlue Crystal.Head back and smash the two boxes you used to get up to the monkey bars for thethird Gobboand some Crystals.
Ignore the pipe and run past it, through the area with a tornado to another pipe, jump inside. Move the push box enough to jump and reach the spinning platforms and ride it to the box in the back-right side of the room. Jump on top for aSilver Keyand smash the box for some Crystals.
Jump back onto the spinning platforms and ride it and free thefourth Gobbo. Ride the platforms to the last floating box in a corner for theGreen Crystaland then smash the last box for some Crystals. Head back out through the pipe you came in once finished.
Head back to the pipe just past the area with a tornado and jump in. Swim past the electric fence once it turns off, and grab both crystals floating in the water, one of which is thePurple Crystal.Smash the box just beyond it for some Crystals and continue to the end of the area and grab aSilver Keybefore heading through the cave.
Avoid the Hammerhead Shark and use the key you just picked up to free thefifth Gobbo.Swim below and smash the two boxes for some Crystals before heading deeper inside.
Before starting, turn around and grab theLifebehind the pipe. Run into the Torch item in front of you.This will increase how much you’re able to see, allowing you to platform much easier.Continue following the path, grabbing torches along the way, as well as theLifeand thedisguised Yellow Crystalon the left and right sides of the end section of this area.
Head inside the Crystal door to start a Ghost Race. Follow the trail of Crystals and beat the ghost in the race to the end, grabbing theSIlver Keyat the end. Wait for the crumbling platforms behind you to respawn and use them, taking the path to the left and freeing thesixth Gobbo. Head back to the end and ring the gong to end the level.

Level 3-3: Goin' Underground
Start by following the path of Crystals and use the platforms that jet out of the lava to cross the pit. Turn the corner and press the red button, as well as smash the box for thefirst Gobbo. Run back to the platforms that jet out and use the closest one to jump up and grab theRed Crystalon the platform above.
Head through the door behind you and then through the door to the left. Smash the two boxes for thesecond Gobbo and the Yellow Crystal. Use the slow-scrolling platforms to cross over to the other side and grab theGold Key.
Head back out and smash the box in front of you for some Crystals. Use the small platforms to cross onto the Raft platforms to then cross the Lava. Follow the platforms straight ahead and ride the last platform to the two stacked boxes. Climb on top and smash both boxes for some Crystals and theGreen Crystal.
Jump across the crumbling platforms to thethird Gobbo. Make your way back to the locked door and head inside. Smash the two boxes on the ground level for some Crystals. Press the red button and use the moving platform to get to each red button that pops up to lower the platform back where you started.
Use the platform and smash the box for thefourth Gobbo.Go through the door on the other side of where you entered the room from, and jump into the pool of water. Take out the Swimming Dantini’s and smash the box on the left side for thePurple Crystal.Swim to the other side and grab theSilver Keyand then leave.
Unlock the red button and press it. Use the platforms you spawned behind you to climb up. Once you reach the top platform, turn around and jump up on top of the monkey bars. Take out the Stomping Dantini and run to the platform at the end of the monkey bars to grab thefifth Gobbo.
Make your way back and cross the lava pit, smash the two boxes in front of you for theBlue Crystaland some Crystals. Head through the Crystal Door. Follow the trail of Crystals until the purple jelly, ignore it and take the left path until you reach aSilver Key.
Head back the way you came to the purple jelly you ran past and use it to cross to the next area, following the path of Crystals to thesixth Gobbo, freeing it. Continue along, taking the Balloon to the path up to the Gong. Ring the gong when you finish exiting the level.
Level 3-B1: The Deadly Tank Of Neptuna
Swim forward, taking out the big fish and breaking the box and grab the Crystals. Move to the next area and do the same here, taking out another fish and grabbing more Crystals from a box. Swim towards the exit, taking out the crab blocking your path.
Break the box to the left of the entrance for some Crystals. Head through the electric fence when it shuts off. Take out the Swimming Dantini’s and go through the other electric fence into the next section of this area. On the opposite side of the exit is another electric fence with aLifein it. Grab it and exit this area.
This will be one of, if not, the hardest bosses you’ll encounter inCroc.As with the rest of the level, you’ll have to fight this boss completely underwater. Be careful when approachingNeptuna, bait him into attacking, move away at the last second and strike him when he’s dazed.
In the third part of this boss,Neptunawill shoot at you with his Trident, back up and dodge before getting up close for the final hit.
Level 3-S1: Arabian Heights
Start by following the string of Crystals down the dim path, jump over the red button near the end of the path and take out the Devil Dantini behind the button. Jump on the button and head back to the starting area. Take the platform to the left.
Follow the platforms, jumping from one to the next until you hit a platform with two boxes on independent islands to the left and right of you. Smash the boxes for aLifeand some Crystals. Continue forward the way you were going.
Take a right to an isolated island with a box, smash it for some Crystals before continuing on and taking out the Devil Dantini on top of the box and then smashing it for some Crystals. Continuing forward, collect Crystals and take out the Devil Dantini’s on your way until you reach a pipe, jump inside.
Fall down, collect all the Crystals on your way and jump across the crumbling platforms and head through the door. In the next area, use the rotating platforms to jump across the pits while taking out the Devil Dantini’s and proceed through the door at the end.
In this area, navigate your way across the crumbling platforms and smash boxes for some Crystals while taking out the Devil Dantini’s along the way. Keep following along the slightly lit path and jump in the pipe at the end. Drop down and cross the muddy water using the rotating platforms and get theJigsaw Pieceat the end.
Level 3-4: Sand And Freedom
Start by smashing the box in front of you for some Crystals before running around the acid pool in front of you, waiting for the tornado to go away, then breaking the box at the end of this island for theRed Crystal.
Take the path to the right, taking out the Jumping Dantini and getting thefirst Gobboat the end of this path. Make your way back and take the other route to the cage and use the balloon to get aSilver Keyand then take the platform in front of it back up to unlock the caged button, press it and go through the door.
Cross under using the monkey bars while avoiding the Stomping Dantini and grabbing thedisguised Green Crystal.Jump on the cage and then on top of the monkey bars, running to the end and jumping to a small patch above the door you came in to get aSilver Key.Head back and unlock the cage for thesecond Gobbo.
Jump on top of the small monkey bar platform with the purple jelly on it and use that to climb to the top of this section. Jump across the pit of muddy water using the platforms available to you and take out the Devil Dantini on the other side as well as collect aGold Key, theBlue Crystaland some regular Crystals.
Make your way back and take the balloon down to the locked door, heading inside. Take out the Devil Dantini and cross to the other side using the crumbling platforms on the right side. Head through the door for now.
Smash the two boxes in this section for some Crystals and use the rotating platforms to press the red button on the left side of the room. Jump back and take the platform in the middle to the box on a lonely platform. Before smashing it, jump on top of it to reach thedisguised Yellow Crystal.
Smash the box you used to get up to the Yellow Crystal for thethird Gobbo.Head back and out the door on the right. Jump over the acid pools, collecting Crystals and dodging the Scorpions that will jump out. Smash any boxes along the way. The Crystal over the second-to-last pool is thedisguised Purple Crystal.
Grab theGold Keyat the end and head back the way you came in. Now, take the crumbling platforms on the right side of this room to get aSilver Key.Jump down and head out the door on the left and back over the way you came, to the red button inside a cage, press it to summon some platforms.
Cross back and use the platforms you summoned to cross over to the locked door, grabbing some Crystals and thefourth Gobboalong the way. Head through the locked door to the next area.
Time your jump when one of the two platforms circling the main area in the middle is reachable from the crumbling platform. Take the monkey bars to the left for some Crystals and thefifth Gobbo. Head back and use the small platform path to go inside the Crystal Door.
You’ll have to race another ghost, just follow the path of Crystals until you reach what looks like a platform with no path forward. There’s a balloon for you to jump and ride down. Grab the key and thesixth Gobbo. Once you finish, ring the gong to exit the level.

Level 3-5: Leap Of Faith
Upon starting this level, immediately turn left andjump to the plummeting platform and ride it down to the bottom to start a Bonus Area.You’ll run around the perimeter of this area, smashing the boxes holding Lives while avoiding being blown off of them and into the acid pits by the waterfalls above them. When finished, run into the sparkles in the corner.
Now, back at the beginning, jump across the platforms to the left completely this time and ride the balloon down, collecting all the Crystals on your way. Climb the spiraling platforms to the top smashing the box there for theRed Crystal.
Make your way up the spiral platforms further for aSilver Keyand then ride the balloon to thefirst Gobbo, freeing it from its cage. Jump across the plummeting platform and down the pipe.
Run around the pipe you came out of, collecting all the Crystals. Jump across and up the platforms, avoiding the Devil Dantini’s shooting at you until you reach a box. Run behind it and jump on the floating column for aSilver Key.Smash the box for theGreen Crystal.
Continue towards the pipe at the top of this area, grabbing thesecond Gobboalong your way and jump down the pipe. Climb up the crumbling platforms and cross the muddy water using the floating boxes. Jump down on to the box, then jump up to the red button and press it.
Turn around and take the elevator platform up and smash all the boxes for thethird Gobboand some Crystals. Break the box near the pipe for some more Crystals and then jump down the pipe.
Run around the monkey bars to the red button and press it. Break the boxes for some Crystals and jump to the lone column to get thedisguised Blue Crystal.Continue and jump down the pipe.
Jump and use the raft platforms to get to and smash the four boxes on lone platforms to get some Crystals,the fourth Gobbo and the Yellow Crystal.Head through the door at the end, just past the monkey bars.
Move the push box towards the platform that’s jetting out of the muddy water and jump on it, using it to reach the platform. Jump across, grabbing thedisguised Purple Crystaland Life on your way down. Take out the Devil Dantini and smash both boxes for some crystals before going through the door.
Jump across the columns, jump on the red button to trigger a platform to move back and forth. Ride it to another island platform. Jump across the pit using more column platforms. Smash the box on the next section to get thefifth Gobbo.Jump across the pit, dodging the swinging spiky balls and go through the Crystal Door.
Be careful of the swinging balls as the hitbox on them is much larger than they appear. Wait until they swing by fully.
Another race against a ghost will ensue. Follow the path and, upon your first fork in the road, turn right, follow the Crystals until you reach a cage, run past it towards the gong and jump up, grabbing aSilver Key.Unlock the cage and press the button.
Turn around and jump across the platforms you summoned to the right of the gong to get the sixth Gobbo. Head back and ring the gong to exit the level.
Level 3-6: Life’s A Beach
Smash the boxes next to you for some Crystals and jump across to the platform in front of you. Jump to all the platforms circling the caged Gobbo, grabbing thedisguised Red Crystal.Go through the door that was on the left side of the room when you started.
Immediately run around the right corner and grab theGold Key.Take out the Devil Dantini’s and dodge the acid fireballs, smash the box at the end of the room for thefirst Gobboand head out the way you came in.
Cross over to the other side and go through that door. Circle around this area, jumping to each small platform and grab the Crystals, one of which is thedisguised Green Crystal.Once circled directly behind the door you came in, press the red button, you can latch on and climb up the wall.
Jump onto the platform and ride it over to the stack of boxes. Jump to them and grab aSilver Key, then smash through the boxes for some Crystals. Head back to the central area and unlock the cage for thesecond Gobbo.
Head through the locked door to a dimly lit area. Grab the torch, jump and swing across using the monkey bars. Drop onto the stretching platform at the end and go left to the next Torch and theSilver Key.
Turn around, cross the platform the other way and free thethird Gobbo.Follow the path here along the small platforms to the door at the end, by another torch.
Run around the pipe and grab all the Crystals. Jump to the first platform and wait as it carries you across the gap. Take out the Devil Dantini and smash the box for some Crystals. Repeat this process again but don’t smash the box, use it to jump on top of the monkey bars.
Make your way to the last purple jelly and use it to grab aGold Key.Head back to the box you didn’t smash and break it for theYellow Crystal.Head back down the pipe you came out of. Head to the other side you never went to, crossing using the platform that jets out of the water.
Smash the box in front of the locked door for theBlue Crystal, head inside. Break the boxes on each side of you for some Crystals. Cross the crumbling platforms, grabbing theSilver Keyat the bottom and jumping up to the other side.
Smash the boxes on this side for thePurple Crystaland some regular Crystals. Turn around and jump up and free thefourth Gobbo.Head through the door to the next area. Jump up the small platforms and press the red button at the top.
Jump up the platforms you just summoned and smash the box at the top for thefifth Gobbo. Jump down and go through the Crystal Door. You’ll start another Ghost Race, just follow the Crystals as you have before. Once you reach the cage, turn right, go past the gong and up above it to grab theSilver Key.
Head back and free thesixth Gobboand ring the gong to exit the level.
Level 3-B2: Cactus Jack’s Ranch
Jump to the middle platform being circled by platforms for a Life. Continue across and smash the two boxes in front of a door for some Crystals. Go through the door. Cross through this area, grab the Life and head through the door.
Cactus Jack
Run to your side to dodge the pins Cactus Jack shoots at you at the start.When he starts to spin just run into a corner of the stage and wait for him to stop.When he spins out, run up to him and smack him. Repeat this process three times to beat Cactus Jack.
Level 3-S2: Defeato Burrito
Immediately, climb the wall in front of you and take out the two Devil Dantini’s up here. Grab the two Lives and smash the box for some Crystals. Climb higher, grab the Crystals and then jump up on the circling platforms all the way up, then go down the pipe.
Use the platforms that pop out of the muddy water to jump across, take out the Devil Dantini in the middle. Jump to the right now for aLife, cross back over and to the door at the end, go through it.
Use the moving platform to cross and jump to the spinning platforms, breaking all the smash boxes on the top platforms for some Crystals and then smashing the box on the bottom middle platform for more Crystals. Make your way across the platforms to the pipe and jump in.
Jump in the water, grab the Crystals leading you to aSilver Keyat the bottom. Head back and open the cage, press the button to lower an elevator platform above the water. Take it up and grab theJigsaw Piece.
