The little vixenYatzliis in need of some aid inAvowed. One of the few recruitable characters in the world, Yatzli is a fiery Orlan who is skilled in the magical arts but also one of the most knowledgeable characters you’ll run into.
She’s a little strange in the conversation department, as she’s overly flirty despite continuously stating that she has a partner. Regardless, upon meeting her, she needs help, and in exchange, you granted a closer look into her mind.

It’s a hard life to live in Avowed, especially in the Living Lands where everything is trying to kill you.
Accepting the Quest
When you enter Emerald Stairs, you will be met with a voice in the distance. It will be pleading for your help. When you move closer to the voice, a little Orlan named Yatzli is fending for herself from some sporelings and other creatures of the land.
Since this is the first time in Emerald Stairs, be cautious of these enemies. While you’ve faced off against fairly straightforward monsters in the past, you have to watch out for these as they will easily poison you.
After dealing with the creatures, talk to Yatzli, who will thank you for coming to her aid, but has some rather strange requests. She’s in need of some help and is requesting a ladder, something one wouldn’t normally have on hand.
She is in need of an artifact outside of her reach, so she employs the aid of the Envoy to fetch it for her. It is a simple task, but the reward she offers is simply information regarding the animancers. Considering you’ve come to Emerald Stairs to learn more about them, it seems like an apt reward starting off your adventures in the area.
Finding the Vase
As Yatzli suggests, the vase sits on top of the tower near them. After finishing the conversation with her, head into the small cave that was the battleground of your great introduction and into the small, peculiar door in the side of the mound. From here, head up the Clifftop Sinkhole stairs. There will be a chest to the right of the stairs if you want some extra materials.
Getting to the next level, you will be ambushed by more of the wildlife. The difference this time is you’ll be confined to smaller quarters. The best thing you’re able to do is jump up on the next level and work your way down to the enemies, as allowing them the high ground can be your downfall.
Regardless, after dispatching the enemies, either head up to the southmost entrance of the ruins where there will be scaffolding. From here, it’s a matter of parkouring all the way up to the top of the clifftop where you will find the vase. Additionally, there will be a legendary lockbox in the back that includes ten Golden Scelling, but more importantly, an Adra for upgrading.
After obtaining the vase, head on down the other side of the ruin and down the stairs. From here, take a left to find Yatzli waiting for you. She will have some funny dialogue if you go through her pack, but regardless, interact with her, and she gives you the information you desire.
