How to unlock a horse inStory of Seasons: A Wonderful Life
Nearly all your animals on your farm inStory of Seasons: A Wonderful Lifeare available to purchase through the Ledger. There are several types of farm animals available, such ascows, chickens, and even sheep. One thing missing though is a horse, which you’ll actually unlock automatically while playing the game.
You can’t actually purchase a horse, but instead, during your first year on day one of summer, Takakura will offer you one. He’ll also ask that you choose which color of horse you’d prefer, between brown, white, and black. There’s no difference between these horses besides their coat color, so don’t worry about choosing the wrong one.
Just like all your animals, you can take care of your horse. There isn’t really any reason to, since they don’t produce any animal products. Nontheless, you should still care for your horse, as they has their own trough and enjoy being snuggled. The best part about the horse is the fact that you can ride them around Forgotten Valley. Walk up to them and press the ‘Enter’ key to start riding.
Also, if you’re somewhere in the Valley without your horse, hold the ‘P’ button and a few new options will appear. From there, you can call your horse, which will automatically summon them. Using the horse to get around is quite handy, since they gallop faster than your walking speed.
Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Lifeis available onSteam.
