The Hellbomb weapon has always been available for specific missions inHelldivers 2, but the latest Stratagem added into the game lets you summon one anywhere for explosive results. Here is how to get the Portable Bomb Stratagem in Helldivers 2.
How to Unlock the Portable Bomb Stratagem in Helldivers 2
You can unlock the B-100 Portable Hellbomb Stratagem byspending 110 Medals in the Servants of Freedom Premium Warbond. The Servants of Freedom Warbond was recently added to the game and has no expiration date, unlike season passes in other games.
The Servants of Freedom Premium Warbond mustfirst be purchased with 1,000 Super Creditsto unlock any of the gear included. The Warbond can be found in the Acquisitions menu while on the ship before missions.
Players can get Super Credits byrandomly finding them at Points of Interest during missions or buying them with real money. Players will either need to buy the 1,000 Super Credits pack for $9.99 or the 2100 Super Credits pack for $19.99 to easily purchase the Warbond.
Once purchased, the Portable Hellbomb Stratagem can be found on the third page of the Servants of Freedom Warbond. Unfortunately, players will need to unlock most of the gear on the first two pages before the Stratagem becomes available to unlock, whichwill take 230 Medals to unlock the third page.
Then players will need to spend another 110 Medals to unlock the Portable Hellbomb Stratagem itself. This meansa total of at least 340 Medals is neededto get the Portable Hellbomb. Medals are earned by completing missions, Major Orders, or found in the environment during missions.
The Portable Hellbomb isa backpack Stratagemthat can be called down during missions and has the same explosiveness as the original Hellbomb. It can be activated by the wearer or nearby teammate, which will then detonate after 10 seconds. The detonation cannot be canceled, but the backpack can be dropped safely.
