At Tiderise Cliff inWuthering Waves, there is an area full of chests, and a puzzle that needs to be solved. Only one chest contains a valuable reward, so here’s how to find out which one does
How to find out which chest has a reward at Tiderise Cliff in Wuthering Waves
Before I get started, if you’re looking for where this puzzle is located, you’re able to find it almost directly south of the Tiderise Cliff title on your overworld map, at a harbor-like location.
As mentioned, you’ll find a ton of randomly assorted chests located here, but you’re only allowed you open one after catching five Fish and giving them to theTreasure Store Hostess, present there. However, if you just roam around opening random chests, it will take you forever to find the jackpot. Fortunately, there’s a way to determine which chest is the one with the big prize.
Instead of randomly opening chests, head over to the dock area and look for abrown catsitting in one of the corners. If you’re not sure where to look, here’s the cat’s location. Note that since I’ve already found the jackpot, you won’t see the cat in my reference screenshot, but I assure you it’s there.
Talking to this cat will give you the option to give itMeat. You want to do this because the cat will then lead you directly to the chest with the grand prize inside. If you’re not sure where to find meat, all you need to do ishunt the various non-aggressive wildlife roaming the map. Eventually, you’ll get a slab of meat you can use.
Give the cat the meat, then follow it all the way to your prize. You’ll be handsomely rewarded with Astrite, among other minor trinkets.
