The Geena Davis-ledThelma & Louismight not be the biggest role ofBrad Pitt‘s illustrious career, but it surely remains one of his most important ones, as it pushed him to Stardom. But before Pitt landed the role in the Ridley Scott film, there were other frontrunners, which also involved his close friendGeorge Clooney, who was also in the middle of finding his footing in Hollywood at the time.
But considering Oscar-winning star Geena Davis had a say in the selection for the male lead, she vouched for theSevenstar, claiming she was left in awe by the actor’s charm. She recalled,
“The fourth one who comes in is Brad Pitt, and he’s so charismatic and so incredibly talented that I was, like, screwing up his audition. I’d forget to say my lines.”
However. this did work out for both ofOcean’s ElevenStars’ careers, as after losing the role, Clooney would find himself leading the TV series,ER, playing the iconic Dr Ross.

And following their time shooting the upcoming film, it appears the two are having a blast, as reports claim the two ‘s bromance is tighter than ever. One source stated,
“Brad and George’s lifelong bromance is in tighter than ever, and they are tearing up New York City together – having a blast and causing some mischief.”
