Xbox players are getting some new content as well with an update that launched today. There are two new moves at Indiana’s disposal. We’ve ranked Indiana Jones and the Great Circle as thebest game for the franchise ever.
A New Chapter for Indy
Indiana Jones and the Great Circlefeatures a new storyline for the beloved protagonist that’s set between the events of The Temple of Doom and Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1937. Indy will be exploring all corners of the globe, such as the Vatican, Egypt, and Sukhothai to thwart the Nazis from finding the treasure within the Great Circle. The game features intense action, developed by MachineGames, who brought us the critically acclaimed Wolfenstein series. It is also executively produced by Todd Howard, the director of Fallout 4 and Starfield.
Sadly, Harrison Ford doesn’t reprise the iconic role for the Great Circle. Instead, prolific voice actor and performer Troy Baker (The Last of Us, Batman: Arkham Origins) took on the part. Ford has actually praised Troy Baker for his interpretation of the character. “I think [Troy Baker] did a great job,” Ford said at The Game Awards 2024.“If I’d known he was so good, I would’ve done it myself!” He told the audience for a round of applause to Baker and Howard. Strangely, Baker was not nominated for Best Performance at the same show.
