After getting delayed earlier this year,Killing Floor3 finally gets a new release date, as announced on Friday. The futuristic zombie action begins over the summer, with up to six players taking on Zed hordes together in one game. There are multiple editions to be aware of, including the Elite Digital Edition, which comes with 3,000 Nightfall Creds and more.
New Killing Floor 3 Release Date Revealed
Originallyscheduled to launch in March, Killing Floor 3’s new release date isJuly 24, 2025.It will be released worldwide on PC (via Steam or the Epic Games Store), PS5, and Xbox Series X|S systems. Unfortunately, no Nintendo Switch 2 version has been announced as of the time of writing.
“Since delaying the launch of Killing Floor 3, we’ve dedicated the additional development time to responding to the community’s feedback, ensuring the next chapter in the much-loved cult action/horror franchise lives up to our shared vision,” said Tripwire Interactive creative director Bryan Wynia. “The support from our fans has been incredible, and with the new July 24th release date in sight, we’re thrilled to bring that vision to players not just at launch, but through the continued support of new features and content that is a hallmark of our studio.” This delay came after asomewhat disappointing closed beta.
Killing Floor 3 will have English, French, German, and Spanish audio support, according to the game’s Steam listing.
Killing Floor 3 takes place 70 years after Killing Floor 2. This co-op title has us against bioengineered monsters called Zeds that wreak havoc wherever they go as they’re hailed as the “ultimate army.” Now we must face these creatures that were created by the evil megacorp Horzine, as the group called Nightfall.

Up to five teammates can join you as you face waves of these Zeds. We’ll be unlocking new skills along each match and will be building an arsenal of powerful weapons along the way. It sounds like a great alternative to the Zombies mode from the Call of Duty series.
Pre-Order Bonuses and Special Editions
Killing Floor 3 is now available to pre-order onPC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. If you decide to pre-order the game, you’ll get the Flatliner weapon skin set, the Fear the Reaper weapon trinket, and the Special Action Force player card.
The Elite Nightfall Edition comes with the Shadow Agent special skin set and weapon skin set, the Year 1 Premium Nightfall Supply Pass (with 4 Supply Passes), and 3,000 Creds (the in-game currency). Lastly, the Digital Deluxe Edition comes with the Shadow Agent content, 1000 Creds, and the Nightfall Supply Pass.
Tripwire Interactive is developing Killing Floor 3 and it will release almost nine years after the previous game. How time flies when you’re shooting Zeds in the face, right? It has also previously developed and published games like the shark RPG Maneater, secret agent-based FPSDeceive Inc, and the medieval combat series Chivalry. Zeno Clash is another indie action game the studio has created. Based in Roswell, Georgia, it has a history of creating unique titles. It is currently owned by the Embracer Group, whichrecently laid off 75 workers at Eidos Montreal.
