Warhorse Studioshas exceeded all expectations withKingdom Come: Deliverance 2, one of the best games of 2025 so far and a standout RPG of the year. And Henry of Skalice’s adventures are only just beginning.

The Czech studio is celebrating the release of a new update for the sequel, which includes a barber mode, mod support, and other new features. Additionally, they are actively working on three expansions set to arrive in the coming months.

Warhorse Studios Focuses on the Future

Rather than revisiting their first major success, the Czech studio is committed to supporting Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 with new DLCs and even exploring brand-new franchises.

Sir Tobi made it clear to fans of the medieval saga: there will be no new version of the firstKingdom Come: Deliverance, unless someone actively approaches the studio with an attractive proposal. Even in that case, the right conditions would need to be met for the Warhorse team.

Perhaps such an opportunity could arise with the launch of the rumored Nintendo Switch 2, but this seems more likely to be related to bringing the sequel to the hybrid console rather than revisiting the original game.

“At this moment, we are not considering returning toKingdom Come: Deliverance 1in any way,” the studio’s PR director stated.

Current Projects

Currently, Warhorse Studios has around 150 people actively working on new patches for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, as well as the three planned DLCs for the medieval RPG.

It’s also worth noting that the studio is considering new challenges for the future, meaning we could see entirely new IPs from the Czech developers—ones that might surprise us as much as Henry of Skalice’s RPG did in 2018.
