It’s not long until PS4 and Xbox One players will be able to experience the adventure RPGDivinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Editionin full which will be launching later this month. While thefirst act is available with pre-order for PS4and PC players have been playing with integrated mods, console mod support may not be far off.

Larian Studios May Have Console Mod Support for Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition

With an interview withDualShockers, Larian Studios product manager Kieron Kelly revealed that mod support has been explored and that there is potential to bring the mods over to the console version. Kelly says that it’s been “looked into” and that the idea of mod support has been “not ruled out just yet”.

While the feature of mods will not be coming as soon as the release on the Definitive Edition for console, it’s interesting to know that they have looked into the idea of supporting mods for Xbox One and Playstation 4.

Divinity: Original Sin 2is available now on PC, while the game’s upcoming Definitive Edition will be arriving for PS4 and Xbox One owners on August 31st, 2018. While those whopre-order will be able to experience the first act now on PS4and through Xbox One early access. Don’t miss out on thepre-order bonus of Sir Lora, a furry mini companion. Divinity: Original Sin 2 is 30 fps Dynamic 4K on PS4 Pro, and Native 4K 30fps on Xbox One X.
