After several closed and open betas, Mecha BREAK is finally coming to PC and consoles in a few days. The multiplayer mecha shooter is one of the most anticipated releases of the year, and is the fifth most wishlisted game on Steam, with numbers only growing leading up to release.

Here is everything you need to know about the pre-load details, including its availability and size, along with the launch times for Mecha BREAK.

Can You Pre-Load Mecha BREAK?

Yes, the pre-load for Mecha BREAK is now available on PC and consoles. you’re able to start downloading the game from the links below:

Mecha BREAK Pre-load Size

On Steam, Mecha BREAK’s pre-load size is34.2 GBand requires42 GBof free space.

Mecha BREAK System Requirements

It’s not the most demanding game out there, and while the developers haven’t mentioned any target resolution or framerate, there were a few opportunities to try out the game before. Even if you have a GTX 1650, you’ll have a somewhat playable experience at a lower preset, though make sure that you install Mecha BREAK on an SSD regardless of the settings.

Mecha BREAK is also verified for the Steam Deck, and I’m interested to see how well the release version performs on the handheld. It still uses the ACE anti-cheat software, which led toa lot of review bombingduring its open beta, but I doubt it’ll be that much of a problem, considering how many other popular multiplayer titles like Delta Force use it as well.

Ali Hashmi

Ali has been writing about video games for the past six years and is always on the lookout for the next indie game to obsess over and recommend to everyone in sight. When he isn’t spending an unhealthy amount of time in Slay the Spire, he’s probably trying out yet another retro-shooter or playing Dark Souls for the 50th time.
