If there is one thingJim Carreyis known for, besides his tendencies to over-act, it’s his ability to produce a convincing and hilarious pratfall. Thanks to YouTube userShawn Kohne, we now have this four-minute supercut featuring the actor at his best, either falling down or being hurled through the air in movies, TV shows and even some of his old stand up routines and talk show appearances.
Star WarsRe-Imagined As a World War II Movie

Japan Accepts the U.S.’s Robot Challenge
In one of last week’s editions of Nerd Alert, we showed you a video from U.S. robotics companyMegabots, which issued a challenge to the Japanese company Suidobashi Heavy Industries for a giant robot duel. Over the weekend, Suidobashi CEOKogoro Kurataaccepted the challenge, under one condition: that “melee combat” be a part of the battle, withKuratastating “I want to punch them to scrap and knock them down.” In other words, he doesn’t want each side to use huge weapons to destroy each other, he wants an actual fight. Could this be the real-lifeReal Steelsequel we never knew we wanted?

Man Gets Charged With “Mischief” ForUpStunt
Canadian businessmanDaniel Boriawas charged with “mischief” and “causing danger to life” after pulling off a stunt reminiscent to the Pixar movieUp, to try and raise awareness for his start-up company,All Clean Natural, an environmentally-conscious cleaning service. He attached 100 oversized balloons filled with $12,000 worth of helium to a simple lawn chair, which sent him floating into the sky. His plan was to fly to the Calgary Stampede, and then skydive into the event, but weather conditions caused him to miss his mark, landing two miles south where he was arrested. If anything, the man’s stunt ended up proving that theMythBustersaren’t always right, since his flight debunked one of theirexperiments.
WhiplashMovie and Short Film Side-By-Side Comparison
As you may know, the Oscar-nominated dramaWhiplashoriginally started out as a 2013 short film, which is essentially a scene fromDamien Chazelle’s full screenplay that he pulled out and turned into a short. Today we have a side-by-side comparison of the short film and the scene in the movie, both of which starJ.K. Fans Can Play Street Fighter V at Six Flags This Summer
Fans who visit any of the Six Flags theme parts this summer will get to play Capcom’s upcoming video gameStreet Fighter Vfor free, prior to its launch next spring. On Saturdays and Sundays, fans will also be able to participate in eight-person single-elimination tournaments.
