Apple announced a new9.7-inch iPad Proto join its existing lineup of tablets. It comes with some interesting new features and some hardware bumps, and some excellent new configurations.
Powered by an A9X chip and sporting new display technologies like the True Tone display, a powerful 12 megapixel iSight camera with 4K video recording, the 9.7-inch iPad Pro makes for a wonderful portable workstation no matter the conditions where you’re using the tablet.
If you’re interested in picking one up, then obviously you’ll need to know when they’re available and what they’re going to cost you.
Pricing and availability for the 9.7-inch iPad Pro
Starting at $599, the new iPad Pro comes in the following configurations:
In terms of color, they’re all available in Space Gray, Silver, Rose Gold, and Gold.
The 9.7-inch iPad Pro will be available starting March 31st, both in Apple retail stores, and online from Apple’s website store, but those ambitious enough to get their orders in early can begin pre-ordering on Thursday, March 24th.
Other iPads receive price drops

No Rose Gold option yet – you still only get Space Gray, Silver, or Gold to pick from.
12.9-inch iPad Pronow starts at $799. Here are the price points for it:
All 12.9-inch iPad Pro models are available in Space Gray, Silver, or Gold, but no Rose Gold option is available.
