How to recruit Arueshalae and solve the Lost Chapel’s Shrine of Desna puzzle in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous
The first thing you need to do if you wish to recruit Arueshalae early in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is tounlock the Azata Mythic Path. This is only possible if youcompleted the Starward Gaze quest during Act 1.
Next, go tothe Lost Chapelin Act 2. We’ve got two options:
The cliffside path leads toan encounter with powerful gargoyles, including one that can paralyze your team. Be prepared for that fight.
Once inside the Lost Chapel, we need to findtwo itemsto solve the Shrine of Desna puzzle:
Next,interact with the Shrine of Desna. Here’s what we need to do:
If you do it correctly,a vision of Arueshalae will appear. Complete the main quest in the Lost Chapel as you see fit.
After this, we have toreach Drezen’s prison(you’re able to choose Nurah’s suggestion, but it leads to a trap where you fight several minotaurs). Still, you’ll find Arueshalae inside a cell. Tell her that you saw her in a vision. Then,pick the Azata Mythic Path option. You’ll then be able to recruit Arueshalae as a companion in your Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous campaign.
To be clear,this is the earliest point where you can have her join your party. However, if you don’t have the Azata option, you can still meet her when you go to the Greengates location in Act III. There, you’ll have a chance to recruit her as well. With Arueshalae recruited, you can now focus onrecruiting all the other companionsin Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.
