Starfield DLC Leak Suggests Second Expansion
Starfield will celebrate its first anniversary in September. It will be the time to welcome Shattered Space, the first expansion for the space role-playing game on Xbox and PC.
Shattered Space is a DLC that expands the universe of Starfield with a new story, more characters, planets, and weapons/outfits.
It’s what one would expect from a DLC developed by Bethesda, as was the case in the past with Skyrim and Fallout 4. Its release window is set for fall 2024, following the major update that added the Creations mode.
Bethesda’s idea is to continue enriching the space RPG, which faces its second year of new content in 2025… including a new paid expansion.
We do not have official news about it yet. However, the JUSTIA Trademarks portal has leaked a new license registration from ZeniMax (the parent company of Bethesda and its studios), which seems to reveal the name of the second DLC.
As always in these cases, it could be a product unrelated to Starfield, so keep your expectations in check.
A Second Starfield DLC Appears
In the aforementioned license registration portal, the name Starborn appears. If we check the data, we find some references to the parent company of Bethesda Game Studios.
In other words, it seems that Starborn is a new trademark registered by ZeniMax, although there are no additional data linking the new registration with Bethesda’s role-playing game.
Given that it is a thematically suggestive name, it might be related to the rumored second DLC for Starfield, which would arrive in late 2025. It could even be related to the supposed release of the game on PS5.
There is a very interesting detail that brings us closer to the idea of a second DLC. In case you didn’t know, Starborn is a secret organization/faction within the Starfield universe.
