Creedstar Jonathan Majors is currently facing misdemeanor assault and harassment charges after an incident that occurred in March with his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari. He was arrested after the police received a call for alleged domestic violence.
TheAnt-Manactor pleaded not guilty to all charges filed against him, with Judge Michael Gaffey informing him last Wednesday that conviction in the trial could potentially lead to a one-year jail time. The trial will proceed whether Majors attends or not.

Jonathan Majors Could Face One-Year Imprisonment If Found Guilty
As per the latest report fromDeadline, six jurors and two alternates have been selected to studyJonathan Majors’ charges of misdemeanor assault and harassment. The actor appeared in the courtroom on Wednesday holding hands with his new girlfriend, Meagan Good.
Ever since the allegations broke out, several companies dropped Majors from their projects, including the public relations company that represented the actor. A report fromPeoplestated:
“Majors’ attorney Priya Chaudhry said that her team provided the DA’s office with “irrefutable evidence” that the alleged victim in the March incident that led to his arrest “is lying” about the facts of the case, calling the assault case a “witch hunt” against her client.”
The actor’s lawyer has been working tirelessly over the months to prove his innocence, even revealing alleged text messages that showed Jabbari denying the allegations against the MCU star. Another report fromVarietystated:
“Multiple alleged abuse victims of Majors have come forward following his March arrest and are cooperating with the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.”
The judge has informed Majors that if he is found guilty of domestic violence, he will be sentenced to one-year imprisonment.

Jonathan Majors’ Ex-Girlfriend Was Also Arrested For Assault
On the other hand,Grace Jabbariwas also detained last October for misdemeanor assault and criminal mischief. As perDeadline, Judge Gaffrey said he will let the jury know of her arrest:
“This is a situation where I think it is information that should be put before a jury. The jury should hear about it.”
Jabarri will still be allowed to testify, as prosecutors have asserted that she surrendered immediately when she was wanted by the authorities. As perNBC News, all charges against Jabbari were dropped:
“The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office has officially declined to prosecute the case against Grace Jabbari because it lacks prosecutorial merit. The matter is now closed and sealed.”
Jabarri’s attorney claimed that NYPD’s decision to charge the actress was “unfortunate and re-traumatizing” and that she is not the perpetrator but the victim.
