The Hell Update marks the return of Type Soul with a massive content drop and balance overhaul. It introduces the Hellverse, a new race, reworked game modes, and a crafting system while reshaping core mechanics across every faction. Below is a complete breakdown of everything included in the patch.
The Hellverse Area
The biggest addition is the Hellverse, a high-risk zone where PvP determines whether you keep your character safe or end up trapped in Purgatory. Soul Wisps act as lives, and losing all of them locks you in Purgatory until you escape. you’re able to fight clones of yourself to break free, though each attempt increases the number of enemies you face. Alternatively, you can purchase a dev product to escape and reset the NPC count.
Only PvP combat can make you lose lives in the Hellverse, so environmental damage and mobs will not affect your Soul Wisps. However, killing a Hell Mob restores one life, creating a strategic balance between survival and aggression.
New Race: Fullbringer
The update introduces the Fullbringer race, offering a new playstyle for all players. A free slot is granted to try it out without affecting your existing progress. This addition adds variety to combat and creates new matchups in both casual and ranked modes.
