Ubisofthas announced thatPrince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2026)will launch within the current fiscal year—that is, before April 2026. Previously, the game was expected to release sometime in 2026, which now narrows the launch window to the first quarter of next year, between January and March.

Blades of Fire Releases Demo One Week Before Launch
The Blades of Fire demo is out now, with save data carrying into the full release.
The project was originally announced in 2020 with the goal of updating the 2003 classic, but poor reception to the first trailer led to a complete reboot in 2023.
The Remake Will Be More Authentic
According toInsider Gaming, Ubisoft has overhauled every aspect of the game since its first reveal. This includes graphics, animations, combat and parkour mechanics, a rewritten story, new motion capture sessions, and more. The original voice actor, Yuri Lowenthal, has reportedly been replaced with a Persian actor.
