Vigil: The Longest Night Beta Now on Until February 18th
If you’re eager to get your hands on the dark action platformer that takes eldritch horrors to a whole new 2D level, you’re able to take part in the beta forVigil: The Longest Night now on Steam for free until February 18th. The beta will give you a good dose of the unnerving enemies that will haunt you as well as the technical combat to master.
This title follows an eldritch horror tale, with technical combat accompanied by a compelling narrative. The story follows Leila on her quests to defend her hometown against the infiltrating evil that has cropped up in the countryside. Explore the world that combines dreams (or rather nightmares) and reality.
The beta will allow you to explore such places as the Village and the dark crevices of the cave. There are places you can return to discover more secrets and of course pick up loot. There are a number of ways to play letting you switch between 3 weapons on the fly. The beta should keep you pretty busy as you can use your skill points to upgrade heavy weapons, bows etc. We had a lot of fun playing it on ourTwitch Stream.
Vigil: The Longest Nightwill be releasing on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC in early 2020. Switch will launch later.
