One of the most irritating mechanics in video games is the lack of bag space for the equipment, items, and resources you carry, but thankfully, there’s a way to increase your bag size inMado Monogatari: Fia and the Wondrous Academy. The game doesn’t explain it, but here’s where to find this incredible upgrade.
Bag Size Upgrade Location
While you’re at the academy, head to the main hub, which has all the locations on a map. Head to the Storage Room. From there, you’ll spot the cranky vice principal who wants you expelled, Rosemary. She’s in a red and black hood and has a staff shaped like a cat. While she seemingly wants you gone, she offers various services to you, including expanding your bag size. The first upgrade is for 90 items, which is fantastic. What isn’t so great is the price. For example, you’ll need 5000G to increase the bag capacity to 90. To get that up to 120, there’s a big increase to 30,000G.
How to Make Money Fast
There are multiple ways to make money fast inMado Monogatari: Fia and the Wondrous Academy. The best way is to start fishing. In a matter of minutes, you can get fish that can sell between 500 to 3000G. For example, the Prideful Mackarel may be harder to get but can be sold for 3000G. Diligent Tuna, on the other hand, is 500G. It will also stack up, however, and is much faster than engaging in a battle. The fishing mini-game is much easier than other games likeFinal Fantasy XV.

If you get tired of fishing though, fighting in battles can get your Gold up. In Skull Prison, for example, the majority of the battles gave around 250-300G each. You can hit two birds with one stone here. You can increase your party’s experience and earn money at the same time. Just make sure you make a lot of curries before heading out on your adventure to keep your VT high. Use each monster’s weaknesses to your advantage to quicken the process. The purple slimes hate light attacks, for example.
Forging stronger weapons like the Trident rather than the beginner weapons will also increase your damage.
Another way to get Gold is to open treasure chests and break objects in each dungeon. Pots release Gold every once in a while, and you can open chests for these monetary rewards as well. Make sure to bring lots of Dungeon Keys, as they can open locked chests too. Just be careful not to die while you’re in these dungeons, because if you perish, you’ll lose half your money. It’s similar to thePokémon seriesin that way. Of course, you could just save regularly and then load up a previous file if you die.
If you manage to open up a chest and a monster cat appears to trick you, the battle will provide you with around 1000G, which is a nice bonus. If you follow all these tips, you’ll find enough money to upgrade your bag in no time. Once you’re finished, attempt to use an Escape Magic Circle if you have one handy, or you’re able to wait until themagic RPGallows you to leave the dungeon.
